Birds always come and suck the flowers as they are so sweet). A white rumped munia always went and sucked the flowers of that tree. The white rumped munia came and probed the baby weavers in the nests. Our elders told that the white rumped munia probed the baby weavers and killed them. So, the weaver birds were so angry at him. "How should we handle this white rumped munia? Let's catch him and sell him to the Hka Hku place(the place where Hka Hku clan live now)," the weaver birds discussed. Then they seized the white rumped munia and brought him to Hka Hku place to sell him. On the way, they had to pass Mali river. When they arrived there, they worried that the rations, rice packs, which they were carrying would get wet. So, an elder weaver bird said, "Let me carry the rice packs on my shoulder." If Lhaovo, Lachik tribes tell this story, they will say "(Lhaovo)." The elder weaver bird put the rice packs on his shoulder. As the weaver birds brought the white rumped munia to the Mali Hka Hku place to sell, he could speak Jinghpaw language. When the white rumped munia speaks, anyone from here says the way he speaks is like Jinghpaw language. It's also true. All weaver birds' crops are on the throat, at their back. Although the elders told this story by guessing, this story seemed true. We have known it's a true story. Therefore, we all should remember it as a short story this time. Transcription (Htu Bu) Moi ndai rai, rai, yu yu yang rai na zawn zawn gaw rai nga ai. Ndai Ubyit amyu ngu ai gaw dai Hting-ra hpun kaw tsip tsip tawn da ai da. Dai kaw she ndai Hting-ra chyu chyu Hkataw Naw mung dai shanhte na Ubyit tsip kaw sa achye ya, sa achye ya rai jang she, Shi kasha ni hpe achye sat kau ya ai nga tsun ma ai. Rai jang gaw, ndai Ubyit wa gaw, Ubyit yan nu wa ni gaw grai pawt ai da. "Ndai, Hkataw Naw hpe gaw kaning di na i?..." ngu yang she, "Oh.. hka hku shagawng de rim dut kau ga." ngu na bawng ma ai da. Dai shaloi she, dai Hkataw, Hkataw Naw hpe rim la na she, htaw Mali hka hku de, shanhte wa dut na matu dai de rai mat wa ma ai da. Shaloi she, shanhte, ndai Mali hta rap na shaloi shanhte gun ai jarik n-gu tingsan wa she hka rap ai shaloi madi mat na shanhte grai tsang ai hku rai nga.
