Description: Translation (Rita Seng Mai) This is about an old man and an old woman. Once upon a time, there was an old couple in a village. They lived on the outskirts of the village. They didn't have any children, either. The villagers couldn't take care of them. One day, a hole appeared in the roof of their house. When a strong wind blew, all the thatch they used for the roof was blown away. They had to endure the rain the whole night. The old man couldn't take it anymore, so he said, "I must find something to cover our roof tomorrow. But I am not as capable as I used to be." The next day, he went out to find something to cover the roof. When he arrived at the mountain, he thought, "I am thirsty, but there is no water here." He barely managed to get over the mountain. He thought he would drink some water when he got back home. Soon, he found some water that looked really cool and refreshing. Then he went there and drank some water. He said, "I feel so good after drinking this water." He drank it again and said, "I feel like my body is becoming so relaxed. I feel like I'm becoming young again." Then he drank it again. After drinking it this time, he wanted to go home so badly. Therefore, he drank it one more time and went back home. When he got back home, he called for his wife. The old lady came out of the house and asked him, "Boy, who are you looking for?" He said, "I'm coming back to my own home!" She said, "I have never seen you before." He suddenly remembered something and thought to himself, "I felt that I became young again after drinking the water from there." He quickly stood in front of the water pit to look at his reflection. His face looked exactly the same as it did when he was young. The old lady said to him, "You really look like my husband when he was young. You even have a similar voice." He said, "I really am your husband! How could you not remember me?" Then he told her everything that had happened to him. She was angry with him. Then she thought to herself, "I will get up very early tomorrow and go there." When her husband was still asleep, she quietly got up and went there in secret. She wanted to look beautiful and young, so she drank a lot of water from there. Meanwhile, the husband got up and didn't see his wife. Then he realized that she wanted to look young, so she had gone to the place where the water was. Therefore, he followed her. He secretly took a peek because he wanted to see how she was doing. Then he heard a baby crying near the water. He thought, "A baby is crying here? Who could have left the baby?" When he walked closer, the baby said, "My husband! My husband!"
