Description: | Translation (Htoi Awng) A long time ago, there was an orphan who served the king in a village. He fell for the princess. So, he tried to get the princess. The king had no idea the orphan fell for his daughter. The king took the orphan everywhere he went. Meanwhile, the orphan boy was trying so hard to get the princess. One day, the king and the orphan went somewhere by riding a horse. The orphan followed behind the horse. So, he saw everything about the horse. On the way, the orphan got an idea of how to make that horse his own. He said, "Your Majesty! I am afraid I have to tell you something. However, I must tell you." The king totally believed in him because he was serving him for a long time. The king said, "Okay, tell me." The orphan said, "Don't be angry if I tell you. Promise me please that you won't be mad at me." The king said, "I won't." The orphan said, "My king! The horse you're riding now is the missing horse of my parents when I was young." The king was furious and blamed, "How dare you said it to me? How could a servant like you own a horse!?" The orphan claimed, "I do not own, but my parents did. You are riding it now." In the end, they decided to go to the judge. The judge said, "My king! You said the horse is yours. The orphan also said it was his parent's horse. My king! You say first. Where is the mark of this horse? Tell us about the marks only you can know." Then, the king could not say anything. The king said, "The ears!" But every horse has two ears. They are not significant. Then, the king said, "The mouth!" But every horse has a mouth too. It's not special as well. The king said, "I don't know anymore. I don't see any marks too." But the orphan knew every inch of the horse because he always followed behind the king's horse. He claimed, "Respected judges, I can show you the significant mark of the horse. My parents bred this horse, and I used to look after it. So, I can show you the mark. I will show you when the horse is defecating." They were waiting for the time when the horse could poop. The boy said, "There will be a big mole on its anus." Actually, he accidentally saw a mole on the horse's anus when he followed the king going horse riding. They watched the horse pooping and saw the mole on it as the boy said. The orphan said, "Yes, it's my horse." The judge accepted the orphan's word. Although it was his horse, the king had to give the horse to the boy. Transcription (Lu Awng) Moi shawng de da hkawhkam wang langai mi kaw jahkrai ma wa gaw hkawhkam wa a ntum ma rai ai da.
