Description:Translation (Htoi San) Now, I am telling a story about someone who planned to kill an orphan child, but a rich child died instead. Once upon a time, in a village, there was an orphan child. This orphan child could not attend a school while the others followed, and he could not study, so he was not educated. He listened pitifully under a school when the others were studying. From that, he could learn how to read and write. In the same village, a wealthy child spent a lot of money on schooling, but he had difficulty studying. The rich child's father was distraught and wanted to kill the orphan child as his son had not learned, but the orphan child learned from listening to the others under and outside a class. The father put poison in a banana and gave it to the orphan child. The orphan child thought not to eat and passed it to the teacher, who was not angry and did not chase him away even when he came to school. He learned from that teacher while he was under the school, so he should pay him back to thank the teacher as he had nothing to give. Therefore, he gave the banana to that teacher. The teacher said, "We never talk to each other, so it doesn't need to. It is not enough to share with everyone. So, friends and children, shall we give this banana to the rich child?" The students agreed, "Yes, teacher." So the teacher gave the rich man's banana to the rich son, even though it reached the teacher. The prosperous father intentionally gave the banana to the orphan child and unexpectedly reached his rich child. Thus the rich child died eating that banana. Regardless the father enviously wanted to kill the orphan child, and only his child died instead. Therefore, we cannot have a jealous mind inside our hearts. Here is the end of the story.
