Description: Translation (Rita Seng Mai) Once upon a time, there was a naive boy in a village. He told his parents, "Give me my inheritance, and I will leave home." Then, his parents gave him what he deserved. He took his inheritance and got out of the house. On his way, he saw a man cooking rice in a stone pot. He thought the stone pot was valuable. So he told the man, "Let's exchange my gold and your pot." He said, "Let's exchange." The man said, "Okay, let's change." So he took the stone pot and tried to cook rice with it. He lit the fire and tried to cook rice. But it was not working well. He got angry. He said angrily, "I even exchanged my gold for this stone pot. How come it is not working now!?" Then, he took the pot and continued his way. He saw a man who had a viss of salt. He told the man, "Let's exchange my pot and your salt." The man agreed to exchange. He took a viss of salt and thought, "I will just leave the salt here. I will take this when I come back." Then, he left his salt beside the lake. He thought, "I will take it when I come back here." Many years later, he went back there again. He searched for his salt. But there was no salt that he left. Then, he got angry. He thought, "Who took my salt?" Then, he saw a frog in that lake. He said, "How dare you eat all of my salt?" And he caught the frog. He took it and went to someone's house to rest for the night. He tied the frog to a post. At night, a chick ate his frog. It was the house owner's chicken. He told the house owner, "This is the frog that I really adore. Your chicken ate my frog. Pay me back!" Then, the house owner gave the chicken to him. He took the chicken and went to another village. He tied his chicken to a post at a funeral. And he visited the village. Meanwhile, people from the funeral killed the chicken and ate it. And they put chicken feathers in the corpse's mouth. When he came back, he saw feathers in the corpse's mouth. Then, he said to the family, "This corpse ate my chicken. You need to give this corpse to me!" So they had to give the corpse to him. He carried the dead body and continued his journey. He felt tired while he was walking, so he took a rest for a while. At that time, an elephant walked past him. Then, the elephant stepped on the corpse. He told the owner angrily, "My pig is feeling unwell, so it is taking a rest here.
