Description:Translation (Rita Seng Mai) The story I will tell is about driving Hpu Lum Htu away from the lake. Once upon a time, there was Hpu Lum Htu couple in a forest. (Hpu Lum Htu is a nat with long breasts.) They loved each other so much. One dark evening, two hunters went into the forest to hunt some animals. Unfortunately, Hpu Lum Htu's husband got shot by the arrow instead of birds. The two hunters saw him and cut his forehead. And they continued hunting other animals. When Hpu Lum Htu saw her husband's dead body, she was upset and bore a grudge. Meanwhile, the two hunters decided to sleep in the forest at night. Around midnight, Hpu Lum Htu came to the place where they were sleeping and showed her anger. She cursed the one who killed her husband, "Since tonight, you will be mute. You will be a limp, and one of your hands will be useless!" The next morning when they woke up, one hunter who killed Hpu Lum Htu's husband couldn't speak at all. He became limp. He tried so hard to explain it by using body language. They regretted killing Hpu Lum Htu's husband. They were cursed, so they had become like that. Then, one hunter brought his limping and mute friend home. This is the actual event that happened in the past.
