Description: | Translation (Htoi San) I am telling a story about a poor man and a rich man. The poor man was very impoverished and faced a lot of difficulties, but he had a very mature mind. The wealthy man was so tricky and suppressive that he did outwit a sharper hand to others on their heads and backs. He used to oppress poor people all the time. The poor man had difficulties getting food, so he went to the rich man to borrow some rice for him one day. Then the rich man lent him some rice. After that, the poor man came three or four times, so the rich man did not want to give him rice as he was so stingy. The wealthy man said, "You also have your hands and legs, so you find food for yourself. Please don't come to me to get food. Don't come to me to borrow." The poor man thought, "Whatever it is, I will visit him even though he doesn't want to give it to me." Then he visited the wealthy man, although he knew he could not get any food. The opulent man was amazed by the needy man's visit and thought, "Although I don't lend him rice, why does he come to me daily? What does he want to trick me?" When the poor man stood by the wealthy man's house all the time every day, the rich man told the poor man, "You come to me frequently. Although I don't give and lend you rice, you always come to me."
