Description: | Translation (Gun Mai) Another story is about a clever child. The child lived only with his mother. The child was a boy. He was very clever and also listened well to his mother. One day, the boy said to his mother that "Mother, let me go and take bath." So, the mother said nicely to her son that "Yes, son, you can go but don't be too long." The son also said that "Yes, mother, I won't take long." And, the son went to the river but it was not a big river. It was just like a stream. When the boy got there, he saw a red and delicious fruit. I forgot the name of the fruit. The fruit was floating in the stream. The boy took the fruit and said to himself that "I will give the fruit back to its owner." So, he took the fruit and went upstream of the stream. When he was going through the stream above, he saw a tree that had very similar fruit to the one he took. And, he looked and also saw a big garden and the trees with the fruits so he went into the garden. It was a palace compound and there was a guard man who watched the gate of the palace compound. The boy said to the guard that "Gentleman, this fruit was floating in the stream when I was bathing. I want to give it back to the owner of the fruit because I think this fruit is valuable. That's why I am coming to give it back." The guard said OK and guided him to go to the king that "Go to the king." Then, the boy went to the king. When the boy got there, the king asked him that "Boy, what are you coming for?" The boy said that "King, this fruit was floating when I was bathing in the stream. I am coming to give it back to its owner and bringing the fruit now," and the boy gave the fruit to the king. Then, the king said that "Very good boy. You are a very clever boy. Please stay here for a moment. And, you also have to do what I ask you." The boy also said OK. The king then said that "You work here for seven days." The boy worked there everything that the king asked to do him and after seven days, the boy said that "King, I have done all works." The king said that "Good, we will celebrate a party tomorrow. We will do the party in the morning." And, in the evening the king called the boy and said that "I will tell you something." The boy was thinking that "What the king will tell me? He will allow me to go home or not." The king said that "I have a daughter who blinds in one eye. I will arrange for you to marry her." The boy was not happy as the daughter was blind in one eye but the next morning, the boy was sitting in the wedding room. When he was sitting, he thought that a girl who was blind in one eye would come to him because the king said his daughter was blind in one eye. However, when the time to start the wedding ceremony in the wedding room, the daughter of the king, the princess was very beautiful. Because only the beautiful princess was coming to him, he thought that it would not the right princess who he would marry. The boy just thought that the princess would be blind in one eye. But, later, when all people arrived, the beautiful princess was asked to sit next to the boy. After all the audiences arrived, the hands of the boy were joined with the hands of the beautiful princess and he was handed overed the beautiful princess. So, they became a couple after they married. Then, they lived there and one day, the boy asked the king that "Let me go to meet with my mother as he wanted to meet with his mother. But, the king said that "Wait a moment. You will be able to return soon." As he worried that he would last longer there, he wanted to tell his mother. So, one day, he returned home to meet with his mother just for a moment. He rode a white horse and got to the village to meet with his mother. When the boy got to the village, the mother was with her friends outside of the house and they were looking at each other heads. When the mother saw the boy who was riding the white horse from a bit far, she saw that the boy was similar to her son so the mother said that "My son is missing these days without returning home. The boy who is coming there very looks like my son." Then, friends of the mother said that "Friend, the boy might not be your son. Your son is very poor - how your son can ride the white house and return home?" But, the mother did not believe what her friends said and she was just thinking that the boy would be her son. When they were talking like that, the boy got to the house and hugged the mother by calling "Mother." Thus, the mother and the boy were very glad and happy to meet each other again. Then, the boy also brought his mother to the palace. Since then, the boy and his mother had lived together happily. The king also gave half of the palace to the boy and the princess. Then, the king let them stay happily there. The story is about a clever boy. It was told as a story. Transcription (La Ring) E langai gaw bai ma myit su ai lam sha rai nga dai gaw.
