Description:Translation (Seng Pan) This is about looking for the most foolish person in the world. There were a mother and her two sons. After a few years, the younger brother passed away. The mother was so sad for losing her son. She and her elder son bred pigs for living. They lived on by farming and breeding animals. The neighbors noticed that the mother was so sad for her loss and longed for her beloved son. A man who heard about it, went to her and said, "Lady, don't be so sorry! I am from the soul world where your son is. I come here as your son asked me to. You son is so poor there. He needs money, food, and blanket. Give them to me and I will take to him!" The mother didn't realize he was a liar. Since she longed for her son, she gave all the things he asked for. When her elder son arrived home, she said, "Today, a man from your brother's soul world came and asked for some money and food. I gave them to deliver to your younger brother." Then the son said, "Mom, how the men form soul world could come here and ask for the money! Mom, you are so foolish! I don't want to live with you anymore. I will move to another place. I will come back to you only when I find someone who is more foolish than you. If there is no one, I won't come back home." So, he went out from home to look for someone who was more foolish than his mother. He arrived at a house where many pigs were bred. As soon as he saw the pigs, he sat down and bowed them. Then the owner asked him why he did like that. He answered, "Because I want to invite them to my birthday party as they were born on the same day as me. I wish I can bring them to my home. But don't worry! I will send them back to you after my birthday party." The owner also agreed to bring the pigs. Therefore, he carried all of them in a horse cart and run away. When he reached to a feeder road, he let his friends take the horse cart to another road. But he changed his form and remained there by wearing a bamboo hat. After the date he and the pigs' owner fixed to return the pigs, the pigs' owner followed him. On the way, he met a man and asked him if he saw the horse cart which carried the pigs passed by. The man showed the way the cart headed to and said he needed to chase after it quickly. When the pigs' owner heard it, he requested, "Brother, please help me to follow it! I will give you some pigs if you could catch it." However, the man said, "Sorry brother! I cannot. I am not free. My father is hunting in the forest. I have a bird inside this hat. And my father let me press it until he come back." "I am so tired now. I cannot chase them anymore. I will press it and wait until your father comes back here," the pigs' owner requested again. "No! My father will get angry at me. Inside has the bird. It will fly out from it if you don't press it well," the man denied again. "No! I will beg him and explained until he understands. I will also give him some money. Please hlep me!" the owner demanded again. At last, the man accepted his request. He rode the horse and ran away. There the owner was waiting for the father to come out from the forest by pressing the bamboo hat. But nobody came out form the forest till it was getting dark. So, he decided to take a look what was inside the hat. When he opened, he saw a pile of shit. As the elder son found out the one who was more foolish than his mother, he went back home.
