Kellone pronounced ‘chicken’, ‘dream’ ‘elder brother’, ‘father’ and ‘fire’ from Tone category 1 with consistent tones. From tone 2, the word for ‘dead body’, ‘door’, ‘younger brother’ and ‘grandfather’. For Tone category 3 ‘ear’, ‘snake’, ‘tooth’ and then numbers. The tones for ‘2’ and ‘3’ were the same, whereas ‘4’ and ‘5’ were different. | |
