Description:		29 July, about 2:30 to 3:30pm. 1 hour filming children in the compound, at first from Ngm’s steps and then down near the old kitchen. Present were at first Lor carrying Dini (2:3) and Luc carrying Kââ (13 months), plus Tóó (Luc’s 2nd Da), Max, and visiting Nji (b. March 30 1999) and Kap (b. May 1 2001, age 2;2). Also Gha (9), Ana (4), and later Ngm. came back from the garden and sat down with them. Off and on Marg and Ann3 were there too. Very good natural interaction with the children, sound only thru’ internal mike however. The older children played with a ball (and quarrelled over it), Dini (still sick with malaria) was mostly carried by his mother, and Kââ toddled around exploring.
