Description:Chapter 9 focuses on copula clause where copula plays an equative, existential/locative and possessive function among a subject and a predicate clause. Imperative equative/identification copula is marked by morphemes /tá-/ and /mà-/. Imperative existential or locative is expressed by morpheme /hà-/. Possession is expressed by /k̛et/ ‘has/have’ or /sòk/ ‘has/have’. There are restrictions where copula cannot be used. Whenever an adjective has an attributive function, the equative copula should be omitted to make grammatically correct sentences. The present existential/locative copula is expressed by /hà-/ or /hàn-/. Perfective nominal clause, imperfective nominal clause, negative nominal clause, interrogative nominal clause and comparative notes with other languages have been dealt in detail.
