She talks about the time she spent at High School at Hutjena, and at Technical College where she studied clerical studies. Later she worked for the Business Development department. She married a policeman, and they moved to Arawa. After that they moved to Port Moresby. She worked in Port Moresby for several years, before returning to Bougainville with her children. One of her children studied to be a teacher, and now teaches in Bougainville. Now Clara stays at home with her people and works in her food gardens.
