Description:		This video file was recorded in May 2010 during a field trip funded through a U.S. NSF project led by Jeff Good. A group of adult men helped out by a couple of boys, all from the Ndin quarter of Ngun, pound palm nuts in the traditional way in order to obtain oil (i.e. the basis of their diet and of their export). The recording documents only the process of pounding, not the whole process of preparation of palm nuts, oil extraction, and bottling. Its main interest lies in the fact that the group of workers perform a typical song during the work.
