Description: | A family and their child are staying at a village. The husband and wife are working and the mother is sewing a mat and the father is carving. He carves a canoe. When their mother sews, the first-born stays with her younger sister and she takes her (younger sister) to her mother and her mother says take her to her father. And her father says take her to her mother. Her mother says "wait, I must sew the mat first, you take her to your father", and she goes and takes her to her father and her father he takes her to her mother. The first born is just angry and picks up her younger sister and they go to the sea. And they two see a coconut. And she says grow long/lengthen coconut and the coconut becomes long. She picks up her sister (and wraps her) and they climb. The coconut is long and she throws her younger sister to the sea, when her sister falls to the sea a shark eats her and she jumps too and a shark eats her too. One woman at the village there she goes to fetch sea water for her food (cooking). She fetches seawater and it is just blood. And she fetches again and it’s just the same. She just leaves the sea and fetches it to her house and it turns into two children. The two children of the woman who sews mats and the man who carves canoes. If you don’t look after your children you will lose them – the parents are sorry. (familiar) | |
