| Description: | This folk tale is about respecting others. It is best not to judge since one doesn't know what life is like from another's perspective. A man complains about how he is exhausted and unhappy because he has to work all of the time to get by. He sees a vulture land and tells the vulture he is jealous because the vulture just flies around and sits to rest, not having to work. The vulture offers for them to change clothes (bodies), and the man agrees. The vulture says to just look for steam rising and that is where he can find food to eat. The man enjoys flying and looking at the world from high above, but soon he gets hungry. He goes home and watches as the vulture kisses and sleeps with his wife. He notices that where they go to the bathroom is where the steam rises, and realizes that a vulture's life is not so great because they eat the filth of the world. Eventually the vulture agrees to switch back but tells the man not to make fun of vultures anymore now that he knows first hand what their lives are really like. The Chatino telling ends at 3:53.
