Description:		CC tells of how Santa María used to belong to the municipality of Tataltepec in the district of Juquila. People who were given community cargos, public service jobs, traveled to Tataltepec to receive their positions. He explains how the cargos would be transferred from the old authorities to the new ones. He enacts the speech of the elders to the new young authorities and the speech that the new authorities return to the elders. He says these traditions should not be allowed to disappear. He then goes on to explain the responsibilities of the authorities with respect to handling trouble makers, the jail, community work tasks (tequio), and the festivals.
