First he tells some personal history and explains how he makes rope with ixtle (century plant fiber) and how he used to walk to Sola de Vega on foot to sell his products. He would walk there carrying 30 or 40 kilograms of eggs or beans. He talks about education a bit. He inserts many Spanish words and often code-switches.
