Description: | A chief had a beautiful daughter and sent word round that anyone who can come to his palace to sing till day break without eating or drinking would get to marry his daughter. Bird and Crow went for the singing contest. Bird kept water and food in his armpit but Crow did not know this. By midnight Crow was tired and his voice could hardly be heard, but bird ate his food and drank his water and was singing louder. Crow finally fell down but bird continued till day break and was given the chief's daughter. | |
