She sees a dream in which a steel box is swinging over her head. When her parents find out, they try to kill her, but her husband helps her escape. The girl bears a child in the mountains, but in the Spring she runs out of food and goes out to find people. She is reunited with her real elder brother at a small cabin. The young girl had been snatched by the topattumi-night raiders at a place called Otasam. The brothers go out to seek revenge. The girl is reunited with her husband and lives happily ever after. The main character is a girl from Otasam. She is snatched by topattumi-night raiders from Upstream Ishikari.
