Description: | Mary Kate describes the way she remembers an old woman wearing a braided forelock. She says that the word she uses, hiicei3oo, is no longer in common usage and that this practice is old fashioned. Lisa Conathan could not find any other people who know this word. The transcription is based on a recording of Mary Kate Underwood made by Lisa Conathan on 05 October 2004, in the presence of Edward Underwood. The recording was made on a Sony Recording MD Walkman MZ-R700 with a Sony ECM-MS957 microphone. Recording quality is good. | |
