A longer version of the myth of Pandi who was taught initiation songs and rituals from the two spirits who then turned into a stone at Amongao. Pandi took a small portion of the land (as he was ‘as ples’ ) and divided the rest to the others. The places through which he was going are enumerated, he ended up on Manam island. The Sepik people who call themselves Wayangara are Pandi’s descendants. | ||
