| Description: | This session includes 100 video clips made with the support of the local community, especially the younger generation. The primary goal of these video clips is to elicit the argument structure of various types of predicates. Along with more general activities, these video clips show a some more traditional Melanesian activities (e.g. coconut-scribing, mat-weaving). The basic underlying idea is to offer more community-tailored video stimuli with members of the community as participants. Most of video clips have been previuosly planned with the participants; others are extracted from more natural situations. | |
