| Description: | This bundle is collection of unedited video files of the Baeba family visiting Tsodilo Hills, a UNESCO Heritage site in north-western Botswana and important site of cultural heritage for San people. The site consists of three hills, known to San as the Male Hill, Female Hill and Child Hill. There are also some 4500 rock paintings across the site. The Baeba family have worked with the depositor for a number of years and the trip to Tsodilo was a way of bringing the family, who had never visited Tsodilo Hills, closer to their cultural heritage. After editing and translation, the finished film aims to show the UNESCO World Heritage site from the perspective of San visitors guided around by a San tour guide. | |
| |Kaece Baeba is a language informant from the Groot Laagte ǂKxʼaoǁʼae community. He has worked with Lee Pratchett since 2012 and assisted this project as a translator and project assistant. He has been trained in basic computor skills, and in addition to Setswana, understands many of the languages closely related to Tshwa. | ||
