| Description: | En esta sesión hacemos un paseo en auto por la ría de Río Gallegos en un feriado nacional. Las preguntas “qué es eso?” o “quién es ése”, servían de disparadore para el uso del demonstrativo y para frases que contenían descripciones. A partir de algunas de estar respuestas mostramos el uso del comparativo en tehuelche. Recorremos las calles charlando y comentando sobre lo que vemos. Paramos frente a un mural (pintado en una escuela estatal) que retrata a un personaje tehuelche conocido, miramos la gente pasar. En algún momento Dora nos cuenta que la palabra tehuelche para ‘policía’ significa ‘ese que da miedo’. Las interrupciones en el video son debidas a las paradas en el camino. Hay también cortes debido a ruidos externos. This is a car ride along the quay of Río Gallegos, on a national holiday. Questions like "what is that?" and "who is that", served as triggers for the use of demonstratives and description phrases. We also try to illustrate the use of comparatives in Tehuelche. We drove through the streets chatting and commenting on what we saw. We stop in front of a mural (painted in a state school) that portrays a known Tehuelche character, whose image has been used for many purposes and has become an icon of his people. At some point, Dora tells us that the word Tehuelche for 'police' means ‘the one who scares me’. The interruptions in the video are stops along the way. There are also cuts due to external noises. | |
