Description:This song is about the building of a bridge between two villages that were previously separated by a raging river. The story goes that the villagers performed a new dance to distract the demons who had been tearing down the attempts at a bridge long enough to build and sanctify it (and so protect it from the demons destructive acts). This dance became one of the primary dances of the Achi Lhamo. Please see accompanying Field Notes.
