Description: | The speaker begins by saying that the Okiek used to live under trees then they started living in houses made of bamboo. Women would build the houses and also knit clothes. He adds that their grandfathers used to live in caves and that there is a clan among the Okiek whose members still live in caves. The Kikuyu then introduced grass thatched houses. He also describes the process of fetching water used by the Okiek. | |
