Description: | In this video and audio of ox ploughing song, grandpa Dorji Phub sings a traditional ox ploughing song which narrates and tells about the story of ploughing ox, their ploughing work and tools. The song also narrates about the origin of ploughing tools, their procurement and usage in traditional way passed down over generations. We provided another video which talks about the purpose of ox ploughing and usage of ploughing tools, but we did not provide transcription to avoid repetition . However, this bundle contain audio recording though the quality is not that good since we were using it first time and due to congested surrounding as well. In all ox ploughing interviews, Dorji Phub was assisted by Sati and; thus, I can proclaim that many actors were involved in this recording. | |
