| Description: | Pak Jan Pelleng and Pak Marten Ponomban discuss the story of Pondolos, a character in a story relating to the Pre-Christian war between the Tonsawang ethnic group and people from the Bolong-Mongondow kingdom farther south. The video footage for this session was recorded on a Zoom Q8. The .mov format has been converted to .mp4 using the Handbrake program. The audio was also recorded on a Zoom Q8 in .wav format using a Rode Lavalier lapel microphone. This bundle includes an ELAN project (.eaf) file with baseline transcription, word-level transcription, and free translation in English. The information in this .eaf file is intended as a preliminary analysis of the data. Additional analysis is currently ongoing with the aim of producing a more detailed description of the phonology, morphology, and syntax. | |
