| Description: | In this session research assistants Mr Abboye alade and Mr Asmelash Michael tell about burial practices and places in Zargulla area, distributed according to clan historically but now largely on the basis of religion. They tell their personal involvement/role in this change of the system. The recording was done in Dimalle, in the house of Mr. Tariku Chifaw. The recording was done using Zoom 4Hn audio recorder. Initial transcription of the file was made by Teshome and Asmelash on paper. Then Kidano Kiikko and Mark'os Mammude transcribed the file in Praat. Both teams used the script developed for the Gamo language. Researcher Azeb Amha changed the original transcription in Gamo script to IPA and applied corrections. | |
