Description:		Amelia Domínguez y María Ocotlán Fermín conversan sobre mihmikilo:tataxis (tosferina). Fermin comenta que mihmikilo:tataxis es un tipo de tos muy peligroso porque de tanto toser se le acaba a uno la respiración hasta que casi se desmaya. Un remedio que se usa es la carne de zopilote (tsopi:lo:nakat) pero si no se puede conseguir se puede remplazar con carne de zorrillo (epat). La carne se prepara hervida y se la come el enfermo. Las plumas del zopilote también sirven para remedio del mihmikilo:tataxis. Se toman siete pedazos, se hierven y el enfermo se lo toma como té. También se complementa el susodicho remedio con la sangre que sale donde está el corazón del zorrillo. Se unta la sangre sombre una hoja ancha como el taxkaliswat (Piper schiedeanum Steud.) o el piltsompech (Piper umbellatum L.). Posteriormente se le coloca la hoja sobre el pecho y también un poquito de sangre se le unta en la nuca y en la garganta del enfermo. El tsanamets (Adiantum poiretii Wikstr.), junto con espinosilla (nekaxa:ni:l, Loeselia mexicana (Lam.) Brand) también sirve para curar el mihmikilo:tataxis. Además el paciente se baña con agua de hierbas como el laurel, estafiate (Artemisia spp. quizá Artemisia klotzschiana Besser), ahtsomia:s (prob. Barkleyanthus salicifolius (Kunth in HBK) H. Rob. & Brettell, aunque hay también un Salicaceae llamado ahtsomia:s, Salix taxifolia Kunth), tahchino:lxiwit (Hypericum pratense Schltdl. & Cham.), kaba:yohkwitaxiwit (Ageratum corymbosum Zuccagni ex Pers.), kiowteyo:xokoyo:lin (Begonia nelumbiifolia Cham. & Schltdl.) y hojas de cedro (tio:kowit, Cedrela odorata L.).
