Description:		Anastacio Nicolás Damián habla del susto, una condición que ocurre cuando alguien espanta a otra persona, por ejemplo hablándole por sorpresa cuando está en el campo y junto a un rio. También puede provocarse en la cocina o cuando alguien se cae caminando. Para curar el espanto el afectado busca un curandero para que vaya al lugar donde se había espantado a hacer una llamada espiritual. También trae un poco de agua o tierra del lugar del espanto y esto se coloca en la cabecera donde duerme el enfermo para que regrese su espíritu. También se hace un conjunto de hierbas hervidas tales como el o:mekilit/omikilt (Piper auritum Kunth), teahwach (Pilea microphylla (L.) Liebm.), okotsokowxiwit (Liquidambar styraciflua L.) y tehtsonkilit (Cnidoscolus multilobus (Pax) I. M. Johnst.) y con esa agua bañan al enfermo. Cuando alguien está muy grave por susto se le cae el cabello. Pero cuando ya le hacen la curación también le lavan la cabeza con agua preparada de o:mekilit y ma:ltantsi:n (prob. Satureja brownei (Sw.) Briq.) y así se le detiene la caída de cabello. (Nota: Aunque la pregunta del entrevistador era acerca del cha:wis, anemia, Nicolás Damián hablaba acerca del susto.)
