Description:		Eleuterio Gorostiza y Cristina Vázquez platican del uso medicinal del durazno. Vázquez habla del durazno blanco con flores rosas y que crece en la región de Cuetzalan. Lo distingue de otro durazno llamado prisco. Las hojas del durazno sirven para evitar un aborto provocado por los antojos que le surge a una embarazada. Para tal uso medicinal se machaca un manojo de hojas bien y luego se le agrega agua tibia o caliente. Luego se cuela y se le da a tomar una taza a la mujer. Después de diez minutos se nota la mejora. Luego se repite la dosis. No importa que tome muchas tazas ya que no provoca efectos secundarios.
