He told me he never lets tourists take photos of his ragomo and other custom objects that he keeps, but he was keen for me to do so and insisted that he was happy for me to use the data in any of the ways I mentioned, including publishing data and photographs in linguistic publications, community materials or the British Museum Melanesia Project.
