Description:		Jan Peleng narrates the traditional story of Ratu Oki'. This describes how the king of the Bolaang Mongondow married a Tonsawang woman, a historical event which ended years of fighting between the Tonsawang and Tontemboan peoples of Minahasa and the Bolaang Mongondow kingdom farther south. The video footage for this session was recorded on a Zoom Q8. The .mov format has been converted to .mp4 using the Handbrake program. The audio was also recorded on a Zoom Q8 in .wav format using a Rode lapel microphone. This bundle includes an ELAN project (.eaf) file with baseline transcription, word-level transcription, morpheme-by-morpheme glossing, and free translation in English. The information in this .eaf file is intended as a preliminary analysis of the data. Additional analysis is currently ongoing with the aim of producing a more detailed description of the phonology, morphology, and syntax.
		Video recorded on a Zoom Q8. MOV format has been converted to MP4 using Handbrake. Audio recorded on a Zoom Q8 in .WAV format with a Rode Lavalier microphone.

		Pak Jan Peleng is a native speaker of the Tonsawang/Tombatu language. He was born and lives in the village of Kali Oki', south eastern Minahasa district, North Sulawesi, Indonesia.
