| Description: | Amita Sangcho is well-known for her skills in weaving traditional clothes. In this session she weaves a shawl and gives a step by step explanation on how to weave. Audio: Fairly quiet village surroundings in Amita's bamboo kitchen. Echo was minimal because of bamboo walls. Micropones: Audio Technica 803B lavalier omnidirectional condenser microphones - 2, one for each stereo channel, both attached to speaker's collar. Sound was recorded separately from video on Marantz PMD 661 MK2 solid state recorder and mixed later with windows movie maker. Mixed video was compressed with Handbrake according to ELAR specifications. Recording Specs: Sample rate 48000 Hz, 32 bit float. Video: recorded on Canon 700D DSLR camera with a 50mm f1.8 prime lens. | |
