Description:		Miguel Gorostiza Gabrioto habla del ma:tanka, un árbol de hojas muy pequeñas que abundaba por El Tozán (mpio. Jonotla). Su trozo es muy resistente y por eso lo ocupan para horcones de las casas. Además se enraíza y retoña fácilmente; así aguanta muchísimo tiempo como ya es árbol vivo. Gorostiza también habla del miskit, un árbol que abunda en los cerros y que tiene hojas muy parecidas a las del ma:tanka. El tronco del miskit también se ocupa para horcón.
