| Description: | Miguel Gorostiza Gabrioto habla del kantsili:n, una planta trepadora con tallo espinoso y hojas redondas. Comenta que abunda en los montes y cuando uno sale a buscarlo es suficiente cortar cuatro puntas tiernas con sus hojas para preparar una comida con chipotle y jitomate. Menciona otra hierba que se le conoce como a:xiwke:nkech. Sus hojas son un poco grisáceas y también es comestible, tanto el tallo como sus hojas. Pero advierte que al preparar el a:xiwke:nkech es necesario que se le cambie el agua con que se hierve, tirándolo y remplazándolo con agua nueva para terminarlo de hervir. Sigue diciendo que conoce otro bejuco que sube a los árboles que se conoce como tekwetahwits. A diferencia de las susodichas, el tekwetahwits tiene muchas espinas. Finalmente comenta que nunca ha visto la flor ni los frutos de las tres plantas que menciona. | |
