Description:		Al hablar acerca de la planta que él conoce como te:e:kaeski:xtia:ni, Rubén Macario Martínez dice que no sabe si realmente provoque hemorragia nasal ya que nunca ha visto este efecto porque nunca ha jugado con esta flor. Aunque no jugaba con la flor comentó que de niño él sus amigos jugaban con los xi:kohtih, abejas que posaban sobre esta flor (Xylocopa spp.). Las amarraban con un hilo y las soltaban a volar, detenidos en su vuelo por el hilo. Cuando termina de florear, salen unas bolitas de su punta que supone sean sus semillitas. Pero nunca ha tenido la curiosidad de abrirlas y ver cómo están por dentro. El te:e:kaeski:xtia:ni crece en potreros o en los cafetales. Florea más en los meses de mayo y abril. Las mariposas y los colibrís posan sobre esta flor, quizá le chupan la miel.
