Description:		Rubén Macario habla del tahchino:lxiwit, una planta medicinal de hojas pequeñas, flores de color amarillo bajo y que crece solamente como unos treinta centímetros de alto. Se usa para curar el natati:l (escarlatina), una enfermedad que deja la piel del niño color rosado. Para curar esta enfermedad se hierven las plantas enteras de tahchino:lxiwit y con el agua ya tibia se bañan a los niños. Otra preparación es machacar a las hojas y untar el extracto sobre la piel del niño enfermo, justamente en la parte despellejada. Finalmente, también se puede tostar la planta y una vez tostada queda como molido o polvo y ya se le echa al niño sobre la piel rosada.
