Description:		Anastacio Nicolás Damián y Ernesto Vásquez Chanico hablan del chi:chi:lawakat, un árbol grande como tamaño del tio:kowit (Cedrela odorata). Se encuentra en un lugar cerca de San Miguel Tzinacapan llamado Tatampa. Sus hojas son alargadas y los frutos crecen en racimos. El tronco crece muy alto y recto también lo asierran (cierran) para sacar tablas y alfardas. Se va astillando y no se parte fácilmente. La madera sale rojiza y por eso les gusta a los mestizos. Agregan que la madera no se apolilla porque tiene un olor muy fuerte y también sirve para leña.
