| Description: | Rubén Macario habla del tsina:kamekat una planta cuyo nombre se debe a la forma de sus hojas anchas, que se parecen a las alas de murciélago. Es un bejuco delgado y muy resistente como el temekat (Dalechampia heteromorpha Pax & Hoffmann) y que trepa las ramas de los árboles. No sabe cómo son sus flores ni en qué tiempo florea. Sus frutos son como pequeñas caniquitas de color azul parecidas a los frutos del itskwinpahwits (Solanum rudepannum Dunal). No sabe si los pájaros comen los frutos o no. Este bejuco no abunda en la región de Cuetzalan; no se encuentra en todas partes como otros. Sus hojas se usan para curar la enfermedad de los riñones. Se cortan cuatro hojas y se hierven en un litro de agua. Se deja hervir hasta que el agua se reduzca a medio litro. Para quitar el dolor, se toma como té tres o cuatro veces. | |
