| Description: | Juan de los Santos Dionisio menciona que el teposihy:ak es una hierba que se usa para curar dolores reumáticos en los pies. Se cortan las hojas y se les echa aguardiente. Luego se calientan en el fuego y a la parte adolorida de los pies del afectado se les hace masajes. De esta forma se va disminuyendo la enfermedad. El teposihya:k tiene un olor que actualmente los jóvenes ya no conocen y si uno los quiere curar con esta hierba, luego le tienen asco por el mal olor. De los Santos también menciona que el kwe:tehxiwit (Hyptis verticilada Jacq.) sirve en la misma manera para aliviar los dolores en los pies. El kwe:tehxiwit, según él, se da mucho en los potreros. También tiene un olor fuerte provocando que algunas personas ya no la quieren utilizar y prefieren usar medicinas de farmacia. | |
