Description:A traditional story about Wombasame and his brother Wonmelma. Wombasame's mother tries to kill him by feeding him a burning-hot potsherd, but his aunt rescues him and raises him. Later, when the mother is trying to streal Wombasame's banana trees, he captures her, cuts off her fingers, and tricks his aunt into cooking them for him to eat. The aunt eventually realizes what is happening and flees with her sister, whereupon the two give birth to cassowaries and pigs, as well as to the human child Wonmelma. When Wonmelma comes of age, he realizes that the villagers are hunting his pig-siblings, so he calls upon the help of his brother Wombasame, and the two work together to massacre the villagers.
