Description: | In this video recording, women from Arepin came together to tell stories and riddles in Ikaan, Ebira and English in the evening. In between the stories, people are laughing and chatting. Some stories also have songs, which are often in Yoruba. As you can see in the video, the people were sitting on three benches in a circle, with the camera and the microphone facing them. In front of the camera as well as out of sight of the camera, children gathered around to listen to the stories. In the beginning there was still daylight, later it got dark and we used the front light of the house to give light. | |
