| Hein van der Voort nasceu nos Paises Baixos / Holanda em 1961. Ele estudou linguística na Holanda e Dinamarca e trabalhou como pesquisador e professor de linguística. Desde 1994 está atuando no Brasil, fazendo pesquisa de campo em Rondônia (onde está conhecido como Henrique) com os Aikanã, Arikapú, Kwazá e outros grupos, sob a responsabilidade do Museu Goeldi. | ||
| Hein van der Voort was born in the Netherlands in 1961. He studied linguistics in the Netherlands and Denmark, and he worked as a researcher and teacher of linguistics. Since 1994, he has been active in Brazil, conducting fieldwork in Rondônia (where he is known as Henrique), with the Aikanã, Arikapú, Kwazá and other groups, under the responsibility of the Museu Goeldi. | ||
