Description:		The segment from the 1943 Český zvukový týdeník Aktualita (Czech Aktualita Sound Newsreel) Issue No. 37A informs about the work of Miloslav Seeman, founder of Czech phoniatrics. Footage of a phoniatric department filled with various devices. Miloslav Seeman demonstrates a speech therapy examination on children. He shapes their mouths while the children have to pronounce words or letters. Using a massage device he attempts to increase and improve the intensity of the voice and to correct pronunciation.
