| Title: | Entretien avec Honorata R., née en 1948, enseignante à la retraite | |
| Abstract: | L’entretien a lieu le 8 octobre 2019 chez elle à Korogwe, où elle me reçoit avec un petit-déjeuner. Elle fait partie des femmes qui m’ont été introduites sur la recommandation de l’évêque anglican du diocèse de Tanga ; c’est une femme avec qui j’avais eu un entretien la veille qui m’a menée jusque chez elle le matin où nous avions rendez-vous. Je discute avec son mari avant le début de l’entretien, mais il nous laisse ensuite seules ; un jeune homme, probablement son petit-fils, est dans la même pièce par moments. Cet entretien est parmi les plus longs du corpus, puisqu’il dure 1h40. La dernière partie est un dialogue autour d’une sélection de photographies que j’avais imprimées et que j’ai montré à la plupart des femmes scolarisées que j’ai rencontrées, pour prolonger le dialogue en fin d’entretien.Les passages coupés sont uniquement des demandes de répétition de ma part qui n’apportent aucune information supplémentaire. | |
| The interview took place on 8 October 2019 at the interviewee’s home in Korogwe, where she welcomed me with breakfast. She is one of the women who were introduced to me on the recommendation of the Anglican bishop of the diocese of Tanga; a woman with whom I had had an interview the day before led me to her home on the morning we had an appointment. I had a chat with her husband before the interview began, but afterwards he left us alone; a young man, probably her grandson, was in the same room at some points. This interview is one of the longest in the corpus, lasting 1 hour 40 minutes. The last part is a dialogue based on a selection of photographs that I had printed out and showed to most of the school-going women I met, to extend the dialogue at the end of the interview.The passages that have been cut out are simply requests for repetition on my part and do not provide any additional information. | ||
