Keeling catalog cites Kroeber (1925:766): "In addition to Tumanpa Vanyume, the Mohave follow several other foreign singings. Chiyere, 'Birds' (that is, in general), was learned by one or more individuals from the Yuma. They are said not to know the story. The rattle is used and the songs can be danced to."
